Okay so I tried to come with a Halloween makeup look for you guys and this is all I could come up with.
You can stop laughing now.
But seriously, I am the least creative person when it comes to thinking of new ideas and such. So I just thought I would do a typical cat makeup look, but more sexified :P After all, Halloween is one of the few nights that girls get to dress sexy without massive criticism right? I know I have some cat ears around here somewhere that I wanted to wear but I couldn't find them :( I also think I messed up on the whiskers too; oh well, it's a work in progress. This look would be great with false lashes too but I didn't have any that looked good.
I hope you guys like the look and there will be a tutorial following soon (hopefully!)

P.S. Oh in case you're wondering, my skin isn't really that great, I accidentally overdid the noise removal feature in Photoshop trying to make my picture look less grainy. Believe me, my skin doesn't look like that!
Since I usually tend to make new posts every day, some of you are probably wondering where I have been lately huh? Well, the answer to that question is...nowhere. I haven't been anywhere, except here as usual. The only thing that has kept me from blogging is a lack of ideas for new posts and a lot of stress. Lately I have been stressing over a number of things which I'm not going to go into details about. Let's just say the old saying is true, "when it rains, it pours."
Anyways, I'm not trying to get sympathy from you guys, just wanted to let you know why I haven't been responding to comments or making new posts. If anyone has any ideas for posts, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions! I have been focusing more on my fashion blog though, only because it's easier for me to come up with ideas...I don't know why, I guess because fashion is actually more of an obsession for me than makeup is. If you haven't checked it out yet, please be sure to! The pictures are a little edgier and more artistic than this blog, because I think photography and fashion go really well together and I like to combine the two.
.....that's what I feel like happens whenever I wear this lipstick because it is soo bright. Even though I added a filter to give my photos an edgier look, the lipstick stayed true to color; that's how it really looks in real life!
I took advantage of my new tripod and did a little camwhoring while my son took a nap :)
Hi everyone, I'm back! Well, for now at least, my bf managed to somehow get my computer working again, but it's still acting up so I don't know how long it'll last. Pray for me :P

As for the problems in my previous post, they have cleared up substantially now and luckily I haven't started peeling yet and it doesn't seem likely that I will-yay! Although it is kinda fun to peel your sunburned skin off....ew I know that's gross but admit it, you do it too :P
Like the creative title? I swear, my creativity is seriously lacking these days...
Here is my FOTD I wore today. I have no idea why I wore such dramatic makeup because all I did was take my son for a walk in the local redwood park. People kept looking at me weirdly too, like "why is she wearing so much makeup to take her son for a walk?" But I don't care, I needed the practice in blending.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to visit my twin sister this weekend. Being the generous sister that she is, she surprised me by handing me a gift bag from Urban Decay! Inside was a gift set called the Show Pony Palette (or something like that!), which came with a palette of six eyeshadows, a mini 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, and a mini bottle of the original Primer Potion. She also included a berry colored lipstick called Vinyl.
The packaging is so cool! And the shadows are awesome, they are super pretty and pigmented and glide on easily. I've been wanting to try the eyeliner and the original primer potion for awhile now, so I'm happy they were included in this set! I'm somewhat new to Urban Decay, so I'm not sure when this came out.
This weekend I went to visit my sister and my nephew. We planned on doing a mini photoshoot with our kids and her husband and my boyfriend because our mom wanted us to send pictures of our family to her (she lives in S. Korea). However, it didn't work out too well since my boyfriend couldn't come because of work, and her husband was busy, and the kids wouldn't cooperate, so it turned out to be just her and I doing the photoshoot. But for some reason all the pictures of us together didn't turn out at all! It was sooo frustrating because it took so long and it was like 90 degrees outside! So in the end, all you're stuck looking at is pictures of me :)
I wish I looked more fashionable here, but we tried coordinating our outfits together and she was wearing a top that went well with the one I wore. But of course, you can't see it since the pictures didn't turn out. Actually, I think she is going to post pictures of her outfit on her blog, so you can check out what she wore.

Sorry for the lame title, too tired to think of a creative one :P Here is a my FOTD using the lipstick that I talked about in my previous post. I love this color! It adds just the right pop of color and makes my whole face look glowy (at least, I think so). On my eyes I have a couple colors from a Revlon Colorstay palette that I got awhile ago (review coming soon!) and on my cheeks is elf Studio blush in Blushing Rose.
Just a quick FOTD & OOTD to show you what I wore to school today. Nothing fancy, just a simple top, jeans, and some sandals. Our weather has been extremely PMSing lately, one minute it's warm and muggy, then it's sunny with a cool breeze, then all day yesterday it was storming. I was actually looking forward to waking up and throwing on a sweatshirt and jeans and not bothering too much with anything else, but as luck would have it, the weather turned out to be quite nice, except for a breeze that was slightly cold. I guess I didn't have to bother with my outfit or makeup, but I figured since it was nice out I might as well put some effort into my look.
On my eyes I have my Hello Kitty purple shadow that I mentioned in a previous post, plus some purple and brown shadows from my NYX Jazz Night Palette
I love this top except it accentuates my boobs a little too much...plus it makes me look kinda pregnant from the side :P But it's really cute and comfortable
I am wearing Rimmel Moisture Extreme lipstick in Spotlight Beige, which is actually lighter in real life.
On my cheeks is NYX Cream Blush in Glow and MAC Mineralize Blush Duo in Rhapsody in Two. The 'bracelet' around my wrist is actually a really long necklace that I just wrapped around several times
My sister bought me these sandals awhile ago. I love them, except the backs of them kinda hurt my ankles. Sigh, the pain we go through for fashion! :P And yes, I do have a deformed foot, as you can see in the picture. I have been so sensitive of it all my life because I used to get made fun of because of it when I was younger, but now that I'm older, I really don't care what people think and if they are going to be so juvenile as to make fun of it, then they can kiss my #@$! Besides, I like the rest of my feet :P
My friend made these earrings, and the small necklace above (not the one on my wrist though). She is really talented when it comes to jewelry making. I keep trying to convince her to start her own blog but she hasn't succumbed to my pressure yet. But I haven't given up yet, I know one day she'll cave in :P
Well that is all I have time for today, only 1 more week of school and finals-whoo hoo! Then I will be back to blogging so much that you'll get tired of me! :P

This is just a kinda rambling post about a couple different topics. First, let me just post my FOTD to get it out of the way. I already changed my clothes so you don't get to see my outfit though, sorry!
Too tired to list everything, but on my eyes I used my e.l.f. Eyeshadow and Liner stick in Moss and Hot Topic Eyeshadow in Bronze (I'm actually not sure if that's the name, but that's what the color is).
CVS was having a sale so my friend and I stopped by after school. There were so many great deals going on, a lot of items were 40% off or Buy 1 Get 1 Free. I had such a hard time deciding because I wanted everything, but in the end this is what I ended up with:
Rimmel London's Moisture Renew Lipsticks in Pink Chic and Spotlight Beige
The Pink Chic is actually a little more blue toned than I thought, when applied on my lips it reminds me very much of the MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick. Spotlight Beige is a very soft and natural nude, not as drastic as other nude lipsticks, like MAC Myth, this one is much more wearable. In fact, I don't really know if it qualifies as a nude lipstick, let's just say that it is very natural looking. I haven't worn these yet, just tried them on, but they feel very moisturizing and glide on easily. I hope they are long lasting! Here are the swatches (like I've said before, my camera kinda messes up the colors, the pink one is pretty accurate, but the beige is much more nude in real life and not quite as pink as it looks in the picture)
I also picked up Physician Formula's Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer, Eyeshadow and Blush in Vegas Strip
These are so pretty! Very similar to Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick Compacts, except a lot cheaper! I got this for only $5.20, usually they are like 12.99 I think? I already want more! I think I have an unhealthy obsession with highlighters, I have like a million... :P
Okay, haul stuff over, next item...I am going to start doing videos for my product reviews and tutorials and other stuff. Not all the time, but once in awhile. I have a Youtube channel but I haven't been posting too many videos and the ones I did post I am not happy with, so I will be redoing them, and once I get my channel the way I want it then I will post the link on here. I should have my first video on here either tonight or tomorrow hopefully, it's just going to be a review video of some of the e.l.f stuff I got recently or already have. Just a warning, I don't have the best camera so the quality may not be that great, so please bear with me! :)
And a final note, I am thinking about having a contest, I wanted to do another giveaway, but I've already done a couple and wanted something a little more creative...would you guys enter a contest? Or are they too much work? Please let me know your thoughts on this, and also the video idea.

On my eyes I have just a brown and gunmetal gray shade from my VOV palette, and MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack (I know my eyebrows look a little crazy here, but I haven't plucked in awhile, and also it's the camera setting)
On my lips is Revlon Pink Pout and Hard Candy lipgloss in Girl Next Door

So I was doing my usual blog stalking and noticed how creative other people are when it comes to taking pictures. I have actually always loved photography and I love the way magazine fashion layouts always look so unreal and edgy. With my crappy camera it's so hard to get good photos sometimes, I swear I take like a million just to get one good one. I would love to get a really high quality camera someday, but I just don't have the money to spend on something like that right now...but it's definitely on my wishlist. Anyways, so I tried to do my pictures a little differently today, and I have to admit I am quite pleased with the way they turned out and I think I will do them this way from now on.
On my eyes is Wet N' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Cool as a Cucumber; it's hard to tell but in person it's dark green and I have the purple shade on the outer corners

I decided to wear my denim jacket to school today; remember when they went out of style? Lol, I've had this one since like my sophmore year of high school!
I wore black tights and boots underneath my striped dress. Actually it might be a top, but since I'm so short it's a dress on me :)
I love layering necklaces; I never used to be a fan of wearing pearls, but they are growing on me. And yes, that other necklace is a zipper ;P
