Hey everyone! I just want to thank everyone who tagged me for this (I think it was Maddy Madeline, and someone else? Sorry, I can't remember!)
Anyways, this looked like a really fun tag! However, I rotate products so often, I never use the same thing everyday. So I just decided to list what I am using the most of right now
Primer: Monistat Anti Chafing Powder Gel
Concealer: Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Palette and NYX Concealer in a Jar in Beige (finally got the right shade!)
Foundation: Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Golden Beige
Powder: Lotree Moisture Skin Primer Pact
Setting Powder: Make Up For Ever HD Powder
Blush: I use so many different ones! But I really like these two, Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll and MAC Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach
Bronzer: Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in Tropics
Contour: I usually just use my bronzer to contour
Highlighter: MAC Mineralize Blush Duo in Rhapsody in Two,Lotree Shimmer Bling Face Designing, or the highlighter that I got from Sophia (retail therapy)
Eyeshadow Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
Mascara: Loreal Telescopic in Carbon Black or Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion
Eyeliner: Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner
Brows: Anastasia Brow Whiz in Brunette
Eyeshadow: NYX Runway Eyes Palette in Jazz Night
Lipstick: Icing lipstick in Lt. Pink, Revlon Matte in Pink Pout, and MAC lipstick in Myth
Lipgloss: Hard Candy Plumping Lip Serum in Girl Next Door and MAC Cremesheen in Boy Bait (these glosses go great with the lipsticks above)
Lipliner: don't wear any currently but need to get one :P
Face brushes: the white one and the funky shaped one is Sonia Kashuk, the No. 7 is Boots, the last one is e.l.f. Complexion brush, and the other 3 are the high definition ones from Wal Mart. You'll notice I don't have any MAC brushes, that is because I am too much of a cheapskate to spend so much on one brush! :P But maybe someday I'll eventually break down and buy one...:P
Eye brushes: the gold ones are Sonia Kashuk, the white and the last one are e.l.f. and the other two are cheap ones from Target
Nailpolish: I rarely paint my nails because 1.) I am too lazy, and 2.) My nails are always breaking off and chipping because they are so weak (I don't drink milk) so they don't look good enough to paint. But I will occasionally buy a new polish, but I don't have a go to one
Whew, that took awhile! So I have seen this one on quite a few Onsugar blogs already, so I am going to tag some of my Blogger friends (and those Onsugarettes who have not done it yet! :P)
Thanks again for the tag!

Yesterday the bf and I got in a huge fight, so I left the house to cool down (we're better now though). Out of habit I ended up driving to Target which is my 'go to' place when I'm bored or need to get out of the house. I swear, I could live at Target!
I started browsing the makeup aisles to see if there was anything I needed and almost had a heart attack when I saw that they had finally gotten e.l.f products in stock! I have been waiting for them to start carrying e.l.f. products ever since I heard that other Targets had been.
A word of advice: never go shopping when you're mad! The following haul is what results from it!
Omg I love that their products are so cheap! Everything I got only cost around like $19 or so. And I was so happy that they carried the Studio line too!
So here is what I got:
Their custom eyeshadow palette. You choose your own shades and pop them into the compact, the shadows have a magnetic back to them. Surprisingly, they hold really well even though they pop in and out so easily.
Eyebrow gel and powder, it's darker in real life though. I wouldn't really call it a gel though, more like a wax
Blushes in Berry Merry and Blushing Rose. I looove their blushes, and these ones are super pretty because they had gold shimmer in them.
Healthy Glow bronzing powder in Sun Kissed, this is super pretty too and has gold shimmer as well, but nothing too crazy.
Waterproof eyeliner pen
Liquid lipstick pen
And two more eyeshadow brushes, I love these! This is what I use everyday for my eyeshadow applications. I was so mad because the brush I really want is their flat top face brush but they were sold out, I'm going to have to go back later and get it :P
So there is the damage done! I would've done swatches as well but there were already so many pictures, so if anyone would like swatches or reviews of particular products just let me know.
Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Yesterday I was stuck in bed all day with a 102 degree fever, runny nose, sore throat, the works...not fun! But luckily I had my trusty Theraflu on hand, which helped immensely! I am a little better today, no fever, but still lingering symptoms.
Of course, being in a Theraflu induced haze and the lack of activity yesterday made me even more determined to go outside and do something today, especially since we had a brief period of sunshine (which ended immediately upon me entering the car!) So of course I went to Target, one of my favorite places to go...I swear the security guard at the door recognizes me because I am there so often!
Anyways, I only had a little time to look around since my boyfriend needed the car for work, but I did manage to scoop up a few much needed (well in my mind at least, my boyfriend has other opinions on what qualifies as needed items :P) things:
A new Kabuki brush, isn't this so cute? It's soo soft too! They used to have a hot pink one but it was all sold out :(
A flat top blusher brush by Sonia Kashuk, the handle is soo pretty and I didn't realize until just now that it's glittery, yay! The head is actually a little smaller than I thought, but oh well, I still like it!
This is a makeup sponge by Sonia Kashuk, I'm guessing it's supposed to be like the Beauty Blender. I haven't used either of them so I'm eager to try this out!
It's actually purple in real life but my stupid camera flash changed it to blue
And this doesn't really qualify as a needed item, but this was on clearance, which I'm not sure why, but normally it's priced at about $8.99 or so and I got it for like $6.25? Score! It's a rosy pink, kinda sheer but very pretty!
So the lesson to be learned here...don't go shopping after being bedridden and medicated, it's not good for your wallet!
Ever since I heard about Hard Candy being at Wal Mart I have not been able to stop looking at the products! Every time I go I always want to pick up something from their line. However, I currently only own four of their products, but will probably be purchasing more in the future.
Here are the products I own:
I was in a semi-casual mood today, so I decided to wear clothes that are comfortable
I am really bad at remembering where I buy stuff, I think most of these are from Forever 21, the shoes are from Target? and the leggings are from my niece that didn't want them anymore
The makeup I wore, I was going to keep it simple and then somehow kept going with it...:P
Products used:
Face: MUFE HD foundation
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC30
SilkyGirl Shimmer Duo Blusher in Sunny Glow
Lotree Shimmer Bling Designing
Eyes: Maybelline Eyestudio in Silver Starlet
Sonia Kashuk Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner in Ebony
Hard Candy Lash Call Lengthening Mascara in Carbon Black
Lips: elf Plumping Lip Glaze in Plum Pout
I tagged along to the mall today with my future nieces and sister in law (I say "future" because they are my boyfriend's family, so if we got married...you know) and to be honest I wasn't really planning on buying anything. But then of course I had to stop in at the makeup counters at Macy's to see what was new....and that's when I spotted them...the new MAC Spring Forecast Collection! I honestly wasn't even expecting to see them there so it was a total surprise! And the blushes totally caught my eye because I saw previews of them on someone else's blog, I can't remember who though....but I immediately fell in love with them and told myself I would buy one! And today I did!
I didn't really have time to swatch all of them because I was in a hurry, and this was the first one I swatched and I really liked it, so I bought it,
it's called "Ripe Peach"
You can see that it has some subtle shimmer to it, but nothing too dramatic
Here are some swatches, I love how you kinda get 3 different colors in one!
Here's me wearing it without the flash
And with the flash...
Yay, I love this blush! :)
Is anyone else planning on buying anything from this collection?
Another tutorial for those just starting out with makeup, this tutorial will show you how to contour and highlight your face to give it more depth and dimension.
First off, you'll need a bronzer, blush, highlighter, and a contour brush. The handle broke off mine, but I still use it :P
This is what my face looks like without any contouring
Step 1: With your contour brush, apply bronzer into the hollows of you cheeks and blend upwards towards your temples. This is what gives you cheeks depth
Contour around your jawline, underneath your chin, and around your nose for a more sculpted look. If you have a little more fat underneath your chin or jawline, this will help camoflauge it.
Step 2: Apply blush on the upper part of your cheeks, above the bronzer, and blend upwards into the bronzer and the temples. Applying blush to the apples of your cheeks will make them look rounder, so if you are trying to get a more sculpted look, then just apply on the upper cheekbones and not the apples.
Step 3: Highlight the very upper part of your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, and your browbones. Try to use a highlighter that doesn't have too much sparkles, but rather something that is more luminescent and glowy, this will keep your face from looking like a disco ball.
All done! Your face should look sculpted and well defined!
