Tag: My Go To Beauty Products

Hey everyone! I just want to thank everyone who tagged me for this (I think it was Maddy Madeline, and someone else? Sorry, I can't remember!)

Anyways, this looked like a really fun tag! However, I rotate products so often, I never use the same thing everyday. So I just decided to list what I am using the most of right now

Primer: Monistat Anti Chafing Powder Gel

Concealer: Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Palette and NYX Concealer in a Jar in Beige (finally got the right shade!)

Foundation: Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Golden Beige

Powder: Lotree Moisture Skin Primer Pact

Setting Powder: Make Up For Ever HD Powder

Blush: I use so many different ones! But I really like these two, Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll and MAC Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach

Bronzer: Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in Tropics

Contour: I usually just use my bronzer to contour

Highlighter: MAC Mineralize Blush Duo in Rhapsody in Two,Lotree Shimmer Bling Face Designing, or the highlighter that I got from Sophia (retail therapy)

Eyeshadow Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden

Mascara: Loreal Telescopic in Carbon Black or Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion

Eyeliner: Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner

Brows: Anastasia Brow Whiz in Brunette

Eyeshadow: NYX Runway Eyes Palette in Jazz Night

Lipstick: Icing lipstick in Lt. Pink, Revlon Matte in Pink Pout, and MAC lipstick in Myth

Lipgloss: Hard Candy Plumping Lip Serum in Girl Next Door and MAC Cremesheen in Boy Bait (these glosses go great with the lipsticks above)

Lipliner: don't wear any currently but need to get one :P

Face brushes: the white one and the funky shaped one is Sonia Kashuk, the No. 7 is Boots, the last one is e.l.f. Complexion brush, and the other 3 are the high definition ones from Wal Mart. You'll notice I don't have any MAC brushes, that is because I am too much of a cheapskate to spend so much on one brush! :P But maybe someday I'll eventually break down and buy one...:P

Eye brushes: the gold ones are Sonia Kashuk, the white and the last one are e.l.f. and the other two are cheap ones from Target

Nailpolish: I rarely paint my nails because 1.) I am too lazy, and 2.) My nails are always breaking off and chipping because they are so weak (I don't drink milk) so they don't look good enough to paint. But I will occasionally buy a new polish, but I don't have a go to one

Whew, that took awhile! So I have seen this one on quite a few Onsugar blogs already, so I am going to tag some of my Blogger friends (and those Onsugarettes who have not done it yet! :P)

Thanks again for the tag!

I have to try the Monistat anti chaffing gel. Is it really as good as they say?

Oh, about the brushes I dont have a mac one either. One cost more than my whole entire brush collection. too rich for my blood. But I might buy one later to just to see the difference. Right now I have Costco brushes. They are wonderful.

Nail help...if you just get some cuticle cream, I use Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream because it has a nice scent (citrus), put it on your cuticles before bedtime whilst your watching TV or whatever it will make all the difference in the world for your nails. Mine used to break, split, the whole thing and I started putting this on my cuticles and nail bed, takes about 45 seconds or less don't even have to look at what you're doing, and now my nails are strong and grow fast without breaking. Give it a try couldn't hurt. Then go out and buy lots of pretty nail polish. I love ELF's colors as they are vibrant, especially Bubble Gum Pink plus they are only a buck.

shopgurl101: the monistat works pretty well, however i am still on the lookout for a new primer bc i want to try one that is not silicone based..but it makes makeup application a lot easier! i've heard about the costco brushes, i'll have to stop in and check them out, but i don't have a costco card!
icefrost: i don't yet but i can review it you'd like!
ect: your welcome girl! aw, that sucks that your wal mart doesn't carry that much, i wonder why they can't just sell the same stuff everywhere, i mean it doesn't really make sense to me!
mslipsticklvr: thanks for the tip, i'll have to try this! i also hear that if you put on a really thick hand lotion and then wear gloves for awhile your hands will be super soft afterwards :)

It is true about putting on thick hand lotion and wearing the gloves overnight. It works and has been tried and testd since 16th century and perhaps before. I actually do this before an important event, such as a wedding when I have to shake hands. Good call Liana!

Thank you soooo much for tagging me! This one looks like a fun one!

I don't use expensive brushes either. In fact, until last year, I only owned one! LOL! MAC brushes seem great, but I can't wrap my head around their prices. I love my EcoTools, Sigma, and other generic brands!

your welcome! seriously, they are so expensive! i mean im sure they work great, but for the price of one i could buy a whole set of something cheaper but just as good quality :)
