F.M.L.(sorry no pics!)

So I'm sure some of you have been wondering where I've been lately. This past weekend I got to go to Reno with my sister, her husband, and my friend to see comedian Brian Regan at the Silver Legacy hotel. In case you don't know who Brian Regan is, he is hysterically funny and has a couple Comedy Central specials on tv. I love him, you should check him out on Youtube. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures, sorry! When I got back I went with my bf, our son, and our friend to the ocean so they could go surfing. Well stupid me, I forgot to put on sunscreen, but didn't think it would matter that much since it wasn't too hot out.....well after a couple hours of laying on my stomach, my legs were looking a bit lobster colored....but just the back of my legs, not the front. Let me tell you, it does not look too pretty and hurts even worse. I took the most painful shower of my life and am not looking forward to another one! Luckily, my boyfriend is nice enough to rub me down with some aloe vera gel :)

Let's see, oh and I have a nice canker sore that has been infected for over a week now and makes it impossible for me to eat, drink, or brush my teeth without wanting to rip my lips off. The cause of this canker sore? Over eagerness to eat some Mexican corn at the park with my bf and my son. We were waiting about an hour for the guy to show up with the corn and by that time I was starving so when I got my corn I bit a little too eagerly and chomped right down onto the inside of my lower lip....and then I did it again a second later. Immediately I was spitting out blood and my lips looked like it had been beaten with a bat. Last night I finally went to the store to get some anesthetic for it, which tastes like crap and makes everything it touches immediately numb. It makes me feel like I've just gotten back from the dentist because I start drooling and can't feel my lips. :P But for those of you who have eaten Mexican corn, I'll just say that all this was worth it because that stuff is awesome :)

Oh yeah, and now my computer just crashed for the billionth time and I have no idea when I'll be able to fix it...which means I'm not sure when I'll be able to blog again. At this moment I'm on my friend's computer, but I don't want to borrow it too much, or upload photos to it, so I'm not sure what to do yet. Today's the last day of my giveaway, but since I don't have a computer all the time I'm not sure how I'll be able to talley up all the entries and stuff.

I hate when this happens. I guess for now the giveaway will still be open until I can figure out what to do about my computer....I'll keep you guys posted. Please bear with me, I'll try to figure out something!

FOTD: NYX Eyeshadow in Ocean Frost

Like the creative title? I swear, my creativity is seriously lacking these days...

Here is my FOTD I wore today. I have no idea why I wore such dramatic makeup because all I did was take my son for a walk in the local redwood park. People kept looking at me weirdly too, like "why is she wearing so much makeup to take her son for a walk?" But I don't care, I needed the practice in blending.

Requested: How I Do My Eyebrows

This post has been requested for some time now and is pretty much what I get asked the most about, besides my skincare routine. Why, I don't know ,because honestly I hate my eyebrows and they are such a pain in the ass to maintain! Long story short, I overplucked when I was younger and have been paying for it ever since. And for some reason, I've had hairs fall out where I haven't even plucked, so now they are more sparse than they used to be. I have to fill them in everyday or else I look weird. :P

This video is super late due to my stupid video editor not working! Arrgh, I've had so many problems with my camera, editor, etc. But-I did make a discovery...my camera films in HD! I feel so stupid because that means I could have been filming in HD this whole time! Oh well, at least I know it now :)

If you've been wondering where I've been, my allergies have been driving me nuts lately and I haven't been feeling up to blogging. Also I've been feeling a little uninspired and not sure what blog about. My house has been extremely hot and stuffy due to the hot weather so that tends to make me feel lethargic and lazy. But I am trying to think of new posts and will be back soon with more :)

Urban Decay + Some Other Haulage

As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to visit my twin sister this weekend. Being the generous sister that she is, she surprised me by handing me a gift bag from Urban Decay! Inside was a gift set called the Show Pony Palette (or something like that!), which came with a palette of six eyeshadows, a mini 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, and a mini bottle of the original Primer Potion. She also included a berry colored lipstick called Vinyl.

The packaging is so cool! And the shadows are awesome, they are super pretty and pigmented and glide on easily. I've been wanting to try the eyeliner and the original primer potion for awhile now, so I'm happy they were included in this set! I'm somewhat new to Urban Decay, so I'm not sure when this came out.

Photoshoot With Sister - FOTD & OOTD

This weekend I went to visit my sister and my nephew. We planned on doing a mini photoshoot with our kids and her husband and my boyfriend because our mom wanted us to send pictures of our family to her (she lives in S. Korea). However, it didn't work out too well since my boyfriend couldn't come because of work, and her husband was busy, and the kids wouldn't cooperate, so it turned out to be just her and I doing the photoshoot. But for some reason all the pictures of us together didn't turn out at all! It was sooo frustrating because it took so long and it was like 90 degrees outside! So in the end, all you're stuck looking at is pictures of me :)

I wish I looked more fashionable here, but we tried coordinating our outfits together and she was wearing a top that went well with the one I wore. But of course, you can't see it since the pictures didn't turn out. Actually, I think she is going to post pictures of her outfit on her blog, so you can check out what she wore.

Fashion Illustrations By Me

I was going through my computer pictures and I happened upon some old fashion illustrations that I drew back in the day. I must confess, fashion has actually been my #1 obsession ever since I was old enough to dress myself, although makeup has definitely taken over my life recently. However, my true love will probably always be fashion.  In fact, my career goal has always been to become a famous fashion designer (hey, I can dream right?) and I was pretty much already accepted into FIDM when I was younger, but couldn't afford it  :(

Oh well, maybe someday....I can still daydream about it :P

But in the meantime, here are a few of my sketches, I used to draw all the time but lately I have been slacking on it. Maybe I'll start again, I need another hobby that doesn't cost as much to keep up (ahem, makeup!)

All designs are by me as well. What do you guys think? Be honest, I can take it :)
