So the other day I was in Target (one of my favorite places to shop!) and I happened to stop over in the cosmetics area. Well just my luck, on the end displays they were having sales on all sorts of cosmetics, a lot of them gift sets for stocking stuffers, and they had a bunch of E.L.F. cosmetics that were really cheap! I've heard of E.L.F. cosmetics before but have never tried them, and to be honest, I've never seen them at the stores I usually shop at. So I picked up a couple of items (which took forever to choose because they had a bunch!) : a set of three nail polishes, a set of three lipplumping glosses, another set of two lipgloss pots with a mini lipbrush, and a "beauty encyclopedia" booklet that contains twelve powder eyeshadows, two cream eyeshadows, a mini black eyeliner, and a two sided eyeshadow brush and applicator, plus a mini guide that shows you how to apply the shadows for the perfect eye look.
Oh, I almost forgot, I also bought a big fluffy powder brush.
Total cost of all these items? Approximately $15! Whoo-hoo! I took them home and tested them all out, and I must say, for such a cheap price, these are pretty decent cosmetics. I love the lipglosses, they are all very creamy and non-sticky and offer just the right amount of color and shine. The eyeshadows are totally gorgeous and have a pretty good amount of pigment in them, especially the darker colors. I have only tried one of the polishes, the dark navy one, it went on pretty smoothly, although there isn't very much shine to it, and it's already starting to flake off. But hey, after paying only $1 for each polish, I can't have too high of expectations right? Besides, I still like the color and I didn't add a topcoat, so maybe with a topcoat the color will last longer. Here are some pictures of the glosses on:

Later I will do some looks with the different eyeshadows. Until then,
