New Product: Milani HD Advanced Concealer Pen

So I am not sure of the exact date that this launched, but all I know is that it came out recently (this year) and that I just discovered it at CVS.

What does this concealer remind you of? (In case you can't think of it, it's very reminiscent of YSL's Touche Eclat Concealer)

I love the gold packaging!

Here is a description of the concealer, taken from the Milani website:

"HD Advanced Concealer click pen covers imperfections, dark circles, with a weightless, good-for-your-skin liquid formula that leaves a natural finish as it brightens with a soft focus for flawless skin."

The shade I got was Medium Honey, which is beige with yellow undertones

You click here to dispense the product which flows down through the tube and onto the brush. The first time will take a couple of clicks to get it flowing, but after it usually only takes about two clicks.

I really like this pen concealer! I haven't used the YSL one so I can't compare the two, but from the reviews I've read, this one comes pretty close to it. The concealer glides on smoothly and blends in easily without enhancing any fine lines or dryness. I wouldn't say the coverage is full enough to hide major imperfections, but it does hide redness around the nose, under eye circles, and gives the skin a subtle  illuminating glow.

The formula is long wearing and I didn't find that I had to do any touch ups throughout the day.  I would definitely recommend this product, especially if you don't want to spend about 5 times more for the YSL!

You can buy this at CVS, Walgreens, or any other major drugstore for about $6.99-$7.99.

It comes in four shades: Light, Medium, Medium Beige, and Medium Honey

Rating: 4.5/5

Pros: good coverage, blends well, inexpensive, gives a nice, soft glow

Cons: Takes awhile for the product to dispense and sometimes too much can come out, don't like the brush for blending, also, limited shades

Would I repurchase? Definitely!

Note: you know the drill, this was paid for me with my own money...just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for you and vice versa...use your own judgement...blah, blah, blah... :P

Lol! I want to read your review now (: Thanks for this review. I don't think I've seen this before, maybe we don't have it here :( It sounds really good though! I usually don't like twist/click pen type applicators though but it does remind me of the Touche Eclat! XP
