Makeup at Ross?

I was browsing through Ross the other day when I happened to come across some shelves stocked with lotions and bath stuff. So I started sifting through some of the items and next thing I know, I'm looking at makeup! I didn't even know Ross carried makeup! Granted, most of it was cheap generic stuff, but I did actually see a few e.l.f. items, and then I found some Physician's Formula Organic makeup and some random eyeshadow palettes by a company called Profusion. The packaging looked like it was from the eighties based on the model's picture, but it was only $5 so I bought it anyways, along with a Physician's Formula dual blush and bronzer and a lipgloss.

I have never used anything by Physician's Formula, but I liked the packaging and it was organic, so I thought I'd try it. The blush/bronzer comes with a dual sided compact, product on one side and a mirror and brush on the other.

Here is a swatch of the product. I like the colors, they are very natural and barely has any shimmer, which is good because most of the blushes I own do. However, and I don't know if it just because it is organic or something, but the formula smells so strong! Kind of like a cardboard box, really musty or something. It's almost a little too much to handle...but knowing me, I will probably use it anyways because I hate wasting things :P

This is the lipgloss I got also, I actually really like it, it doesn't smell like the blush, thank goodness, and it isn't super sticky either. The color is just a light natural pink. I haven't really worn it yet so I don't know how long it lasts

They had a couple of palettes to choose from, but I liked this one the most, and even though they had a larger one, I didn't want to get it in case I didn't end up liking it.  Now I wish I had though because I really like this! Although it claims to have 88 colors, it actually looks like the colors are just repeated a couple of times each! But I still like them, and they are actually pretty pigmented and go on easily. All the colors have shimmer though, but not disco ball shimmer. These actually smell really strong too, not like cardboard, but really perfumey.

Here are some swatches just randomly chosen, although I really like the darkest brown one a lot

I guess it just goes to show you that you can find good bargains everywhere if you keep your eyes open! :)
