NOTW, Blog Award, &YouTube Question

I must be on a roll, this is the second NOTW I've posted within a week? Let's see how long I can actually keep it up though :P

I loove this color! This is by Sinful Colors and I can't think of the name right now but I'm too lazy to go check :P I got it at Walgreens, they have a great selection of colors and they are only $1.99

Here's a little better picture, you can somewhat see the subtle gold shimmer in it. I like this color because it's not too pastel-y for me

So the adorable Vanessa gave me another blog award! She is soo sweet, she's always thinking of me :) I think she also gave me my first one as well?  Anyways, she has a great blog, has lots of great info about circle lenses and other stuff, be sure to check it out! Thanks Vanessa!

Before I go, I just had a quick question: as I mentioned in my other recent posts, I am in the process of making more videos for product reviews, tutorials, etc, and I was just wondering, when you watch tutorials on YouTube, do you prefer when they are talking and explaining the steps, or when they just play music and list the steps on the bottom of the screen? I would do voiceovers, but I don't have a microphone...please let me know! I actually just finished one and will be uploading it soon.

Ramblings...

So here's just a couple things I wanted to ramble about, no particular categoies, hence the name of this post

First off, thank you to everyone for your compliments about my new layout. I really like it! It looks much cleaner and it's way easier to read. It also loads a lot faster too! I was a little hesitant to put my pictures in the banner because I didn't want you guys to think I was being conceited or someting, but at the same time, I'm one of those people who never really feel like they're that pretty most of the time, so when I finally get a good picture I like to show it, kinda as a way of saying, "See? I can be pretty sometimes, I'm not always looking like a bum!" I'm sure some of you have felt the same way :P So thank you again for all your nice comments!

Second, I was at Sally's Beauty Supply and I happened to find this eyelash curler. It's by Tweezerman, the same brand who makes the really good tweezers.

Anyways, it's called like a super deluxe curler or something and you're supposed to heat it with your hair dryer for a couple seconds to make your lashes curl better and last longer. I tried it out without heating it and surprisingly it seems to work pretty well on my lashes!  As you all know I have the typical sparse, stick straight lashes and this does a pretty good job. Obviously my lashes are not going to curl as well as other non Asian people's lashes, but for what I have it works pretty well. Haha, it kinda looks like a torture device, no wonder guys are so confused about girls' makeup and tools!

P.s. Oh I have a question which might be kinda stupid but just humor me-I'm trying to re-organize my posts with different categories and tags, am I supposed to use the same names for the categories and tags? For example, if I label the category 'tutorial' do i use the same name for the tag? And when people use the search bar to look for certain items, is the word they type in gonna pop up related posts according to the catogory or tag? I'm so confused...please help?

*Update: Okay I am almost done re-filing my posts, but to be honest I have a feeling I am making it even more confusing for myself. Oh well, I'm not gonna go back and redo it again! Some of my posts are now in different places now and since I started from my most recent posts and went backwards, some of my older posts are now showing up as more recent ones, just to let you know if you were looking for a recent post....:P

Okay so I feel kinda weird posting blog awards, it just seems like I'm bragging about myself or something...

Haha, so this isn't really an FOTD, well it is but you can't really see my makeup that well because I couldn't get a good picture, but I really like how these two came out so I wanted to share them :P

One of the few times that pictures have come out good without the flash. I wish I didn't always have to use the flash because I like how the natural light looks, but 99% of the time my pictures come out blurry, so I have to use it. :(

Btw, I'm not actually that pale, but now I kinda wish I was because it looks more ethereal don't you think?

I'm wearing my new bronze eyeshadow that I got from Hot Topic (read my last haul post) and my new MAC Mineralize blush in Rhapsody in Two on top of my F21 blush. I really like the MAC blush, I usually just wear it over other blushes because it is so sheer and it just gives my skin a nice glow.
