Video: April/May Favorite Products

This video is super late due to my stupid video editor not working! Arrgh, I've had so many problems with my camera, editor, etc. But-I did make a discovery...my camera films in HD! I feel so stupid because that means I could have been filming in HD this whole time! Oh well, at least I know it now :)

If you've been wondering where I've been, my allergies have been driving me nuts lately and I haven't been feeling up to blogging. Also I've been feeling a little uninspired and not sure what blog about. My house has been extremely hot and stuffy due to the hot weather so that tends to make me feel lethargic and lazy. But I am trying to think of new posts and will be back soon with more :)

Urban Decay + Some Other Haulage

As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to visit my twin sister this weekend. Being the generous sister that she is, she surprised me by handing me a gift bag from Urban Decay! Inside was a gift set called the Show Pony Palette (or something like that!), which came with a palette of six eyeshadows, a mini 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, and a mini bottle of the original Primer Potion. She also included a berry colored lipstick called Vinyl.

The packaging is so cool! And the shadows are awesome, they are super pretty and pigmented and glide on easily. I've been wanting to try the eyeliner and the original primer potion for awhile now, so I'm happy they were included in this set! I'm somewhat new to Urban Decay, so I'm not sure when this came out.

Photoshoot With Sister - FOTD & OOTD

This weekend I went to visit my sister and my nephew. We planned on doing a mini photoshoot with our kids and her husband and my boyfriend because our mom wanted us to send pictures of our family to her (she lives in S. Korea). However, it didn't work out too well since my boyfriend couldn't come because of work, and her husband was busy, and the kids wouldn't cooperate, so it turned out to be just her and I doing the photoshoot. But for some reason all the pictures of us together didn't turn out at all! It was sooo frustrating because it took so long and it was like 90 degrees outside! So in the end, all you're stuck looking at is pictures of me :)

I wish I looked more fashionable here, but we tried coordinating our outfits together and she was wearing a top that went well with the one I wore. But of course, you can't see it since the pictures didn't turn out. Actually, I think she is going to post pictures of her outfit on her blog, so you can check out what she wore.

Fashion Illustrations By Me

I was going through my computer pictures and I happened upon some old fashion illustrations that I drew back in the day. I must confess, fashion has actually been my #1 obsession ever since I was old enough to dress myself, although makeup has definitely taken over my life recently. However, my true love will probably always be fashion.  In fact, my career goal has always been to become a famous fashion designer (hey, I can dream right?) and I was pretty much already accepted into FIDM when I was younger, but couldn't afford it  :(

Oh well, maybe someday....I can still daydream about it :P

But in the meantime, here are a few of my sketches, I used to draw all the time but lately I have been slacking on it. Maybe I'll start again, I need another hobby that doesn't cost as much to keep up (ahem, makeup!)

All designs are by me as well. What do you guys think? Be honest, I can take it :)
